MG America Adds Three Executives

MG America has added three executives to its sales and services teams. Randy Fraatz has been appointed business development manager, Michele Leonardi will serve as regional sales manager, and Andrea Berardi will serve as field service engineer.

Mr. Fraatz has more than a decade of business experience. His responsibilities will include potential client assessment, machinery recommendations, and overseeing the implementation of new MG America equipment. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Fraatz held business development positions at companies offering software systems, coding/marking and pharmaceutical filling/packaging machinery solutions.

Mr. Leonardi will be responsible for sales of MG America’s range of processing, packaging and assembly machinery to customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutritional, food and general packaging industries. Mr. Leonardi has more than a decade of experience handling the sales and servicing of packaging machinery, and has worked on multi-faceted projects involving some of the industry’s most prestigious brands.

Mr. Berardi, a specialist in automation technology, is an expert in the 100% weight control systems offered through MG2, MG America’s Italy-based parent company, where Mr. Berardi worked for 10 years. He is also thoroughly knowledgeable on matters relating to machine control systems, robotics, HMI user interfaces, and equipment operation software.

“Our expanding team of professionals allows us to continue providing unsurpassed customer service to a growing roster of clients,” said Fabio Trippodo, president of MG America. “We’re excited to welcome Randy, Michele and Andrea, and look forward to meeting new challenges in 2013.”
